Agewell Foundation

Agewell Foundation is an Indian not-for-profit NGO, constituted for the welfare and empowerment of elderly citizens across India. With a view to create a senior-citizen friendly environment, Agewell Foundation enables the elders to live a comfortable and respectful life.

Senior citizens more often than not feel a sense of loss and loneliness because of the way they are treated by others. By helping them live an empowered life, Agewell Foundation initiates a change in the social attitudes towards the elderly. It seeks to cultivate compassion and benevolence in the way society views the ageing generation, thereby enhancing the interactions between generations.

Established in 1999, the team of Agewell Foundation consists of people who whole-heartedly feel towards the cause of supporting the elders. With projects like Medical Equipment Distribution Camps, Digital Literacy Program for Older Persons, and a number of other schemes, Agewell Foundation truly stands by its name and makes ageing well and healthy.
